A British multinational company that offers recruitment and human resources services in 33 countries worldwide and is listed on the London Stock Exchange is currently looking for a Data Engineer to collaborate with some international clients, primarily based at their office in Málaga, Spain.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of industry experience in data engineering
• Experience with Azure, Python, and Java programming
• Experience in design, programming, and unit-testing (Pytest, JUnit)
• Experience using version control (GIT), Kafka or PubSub, Docker, and Terraform
• Experience with Dataflow, Pyspark, and Databricks in an Azure environment
• Knowledge of Clean code principles
• Strong verbal and written skills in English

Nice to have:

• Experience with Google BigQuery / Snowflake, preferably certified engineers
• Knowledge of Cloud Build

Main tasks include:

• Maintaining and extending the customer data platform based on GCP (Dataflow, Cloud Functions) or Azure services
• Developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines using GCP or Azure, leveraging PySpark, Python, and Databricks
• Designing, programming, unit-testing, quality assurance, and documentation
• Designing and implementing data models with tools like ER/Studio, ERwin, Oracle Data Modeling, or Toad Data Modeling
• Building and deploying CI/CD pipelines in GCP or Azure DevOps
• Working in an agile team with international members
