Job Description:

At HAYS, a British multinational company that offers recruitment and human resources services in 33 countries worldwide and is listed on the London Stock Exchange, we are currently looking for 2 Cloud Data Engineers to collaborate remotely with international clients, with headquarters in Málaga and Barcelona, Spain.

Requirements for these positions include:

• 4+ years in data engineering
• Experience with Azure
• Experience with Pyspark and Databricks in an Azure environment
• Python programming experience
• Strong verbal and written skills in English

Nice to have:

• Experience with Snowflake
• Azure/Databricks certified Engineer
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience with 4+ years
• Experience with Python and Java in design, programming, and unit-testing (Pytest, JUnit)
• Experience with Terraform
• Experience with GIT, Kafka or PubSub, Docker
• Experience with Apache Beam and Dataflow
• Knowledge of Clean code principles

Main tasks include:

• Maintaining and extending customer data platforms based on GCP services (e.g., Dataflow, Cloud Functions)
• Developing scalable data pipelines using GCP
• Platform development based on Python and Terraform
• Working with SQL technologies like Google BigQuery or Snowflake to support analytics and reporting
• Designing, programming, unit-testing (Pytest), quality assurance, and documentation
• Collaborating in an agile team with international members (team language: English)
• Developing and maintaining data pipelines using Microsoft Azure services, leveraging PySpark, Python, and Databricks
• Building and deploying CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Designing data models using tools like ER/Studio, ERwin, Oracle Data Modeling, or Toad Data Modeling
