Job Description: As a Cloud FinOps Engineer, you will analyze data streams—including cloud spend across platforms, identify potential cost savings, and define follow-up activities. A key part of the job involves data extraction, setting up processes and systems to make working with data more efficient, and presenting data to a wider audience. You will work closely with DevOps and Finance teams to ensure cloud cost management and environment stability through data analysis, consulting, documentation, and creative problem-solving.

Qualifications: - Strong financial analysis skills, including forecasting, budgeting, and cost analysis using tools like Excel, PowerBI, or other financial modeling tools. - Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. - Experience in budget management, including development, tracking, and forecasting of spending. - Familiarity with cloud cost optimization strategies, such as rightsizing, reserved instances, and spot instances. - Proficiency in cloud cost management tools like Azure Cost Management. - Understanding of Azure services and pricing models. - Ability to resolve billing issues with cloud vendors and stakeholders. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficient in creating financial reports and dashboards. - Knowledge of compliance, security, and data protection. - Experience with automation and scripting tools. - Familiarity with Azure DevOps. - Project management skills. - Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. - Understanding of agile methodologies. - Mentoring and training skills. - Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
