ABOUT THE TEAM

You will join our global presales team within SAP Industries & Customer Advisory (ICA), supporting the Automotive and Manufacturing Industry Cloud Architect Industry Business Unit (IBU). You'll be part of a cross-functional SWAT team covering business development, industry cloud architecture, solution management, services, and partner ecosystem for Industry Cloud GTM in the EMEA region. The team aims to incubate new Industry Cloud solutions and facilitate successful go-to-market strategies.

ICA drives industry thought leadership, innovation, market development, customer engagement, value advisory, and presales across SAP, working with customers and partners worldwide.

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

As an Industry Cloud Architect, you will contribute to shaping the architecture strategy and technical design of SAP Industry Cloud solutions, working closely with development and the IBU. You will support co-innovation initiatives and early customer deployments, ensuring both customer success and market success of solutions as they scale.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Understanding customer strategy and requirements to identify Industry Cloud use cases.
• Facilitating Virtual Account Teams (VAT) including presales, industry, value advisory, IBU, and partners to position Industry Cloud as a strategic enabler.
• Providing feedback to IBU and Product Engineering to refine solutions based on customer deployment experiences.
• Collaborating with regional and global teams to ensure the availability of demos, prototypes, and enablement assets for scaling offerings.
• Staying current on SAP roadmap, architecture strategies, customer successes, and value propositions.
• Working across different time zones with customers, colleagues, and partners globally.

YOUR PROFILE

• Minimum 8-10 years in consulting/presales roles.
• At least 3 years supporting and leading complex customer engagements in relevant industries.
• Deep industry knowledge, including future trends, business processes, and solution capabilities.
• Understanding of SAP strategy, solutions, and technology in the industry.
• Leadership skills to drive complex engagements and define target state roadmaps.
• Strong communication skills with an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn and solve complex challenges.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Fluency in English.
