Job Title

Cloud Architect

Job Description

Your Role & Responsibilities

1. You will be responsible for the technical solution, sizing, and implementation/operations approaches as part of the day-to-day activities.
2. Lead face-to-face conversations regarding Cloud with internal & external stakeholders and technology leaders.
3. Lead PoC, landscape assessment, and early-stage technology implementation projects. Create and maintain full-stack solution demonstrations across multiple environments.
4. Review and evaluate solution architectures to ensure they are scalable, robust, and secure. This may extend beyond SRE/DevOps/Cloud/Infra domains.
5. Support delivery teams in resolving critical customer-impacting issues, root cause analysis, and implementing preventative measures.
6. Act as a trusted advisor, mentor, and thought leader. Support skilling programs, run workshops, and produce white papers, technical documents, and best practices.
7. Collaborate with the Solution Architect Team to optimize cost, efficiency, resiliency, and performance in Azure environments.
8. Maintain strong project management practices to track progress, report, and ensure timely completion of activities, with appropriate dashboards and reports.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Cloud, especially Azure, with 5-10 years of relevant experience in a similar technical role.
2. Understanding of the entire infrastructure ecosystem (Network, Storage, Compute) in cloud and on-premises environments.
3. Hands-on experience in creating solutions across various technologies.
4. Experience with the Azure Data/AI stack, including Microsoft Fabric, Foundry, and Azure OpenAI.
5. Support architects in designing products and solutions on IAAS/PAAS/SAAS layers of cloud platforms.
6. Knowledge of Microsoft application modernization, cloud-native architectures, and AI UI.
7. Relevant Microsoft and industry certifications.
