Job Advert : Lead Cloud Solution Architect (AWS)

Location : Spain

Start Date : ASAP | End Date : 31 / 12 / 2025 + extension

Priority : Critical

A global insurance company is seeking a Lead Cloud Solution Architect (AWS) to join their team. This role is ideal for a seasoned architect with a strong background in cloud strategy, governance, and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide AWS architectural guidance to internal teams and global customers

Drive cloud adoption and transformation roadmaps

Deliver automation using Python, Terraform, CloudFormation, and APIs

Align with cloud roadmaps and define key KPIs

Engage stakeholders and map business needs to cloud solutions

Conduct cost / benefit analyses and support system improvement initiatives

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and contribute to a technology radar

Ensure security compliance and contribute to incident handling

Requirements :

5 years + experience in cloud architecture

Expertise in AWS (Azure is a plus), DevOps, Python, and Terraform

Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills

Proficiency in English
