Vonage is seeking a talented engineer to join our Madrid-based engineering team, building scalable backend services and expanding our Verify API with new channels and anti-fraud features. You will work across Go, Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, AWS, Kafka, Redis, and Kubernetes to deliver reliable software at scale.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Product Management, emphasizing testing, deployment automation, and documentation to support growth and high-quality solutions.

Formación

• Proven software engineering skills for backend services and distributed systems.
• Experience with public cloud deployment (AWS preferred).
• Knowledge of testing strategies including unit/integration/end-to-end tests.

Responsabilidades

• Create scalable microservices to support growth.
• Propose scalable, maintainable, cost-effective solutions.
• Estimate effort for new features and deliveries.
• Implement testing strategies ensuring code quality and reliability.
• Design approaches to measure and improve service quality.
• Participate in code reviews and promote high coding standards.
• Document components, design patterns, and the design system.
