Our client is a global service company within the automotive industry - World experts in their field with a strong foundation in shared values and collaboration.

Having embarked on a global transformation they are seeking an IT Cloud & Hosting Service Analyst to join their team to ensure the success and integrity of their transformation project. This role will be 100% remote based out of Spain and you will be joining a company that has a super supportive and collaborative approach.

This is a crucial role within their IT infrastructure team, and you will be responsible for managing and optimising cloud-based services and hosting environments. This role involves ensuring the reliability, security, an efficiency of the organisation’s cloud infrastructure while supporting various stakeholders in leveraging cloud technologies efficiently.

Responsibilities for the role of IT Cloud & Hosting Service Analyst include :

• Cloud Infrastructure Management - Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, monitoring, scaling, and troubleshooting across multiple cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Oversee and uphold the functionality of tools for cloud provisioning, monitoring, and support (e.g. Terraform, Splunk, Github, Moogsoft) as well as managing and configuring the cloud environment with strategic partners.
• Service optimisation, identifying opportunities for optimisation, cost-efficiency, and performance enhancement and monitoring their execution and delivery.
• Implement and enforce security measure, compliance standards, and best practices to safeguard data and applications with the cloud environment.
• Collaborating with security teams to address vulnerabilities, remediate possible breaches, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical support to internal teams or clients utilising cloud services effectively and responding to incidents related to cloud infrastructure and hosting environments.
• Oversee the implementation of approved change requests in the cloud environment.
• Performance, monitoring, and analysis to identify trends, forecast capacity needs, and pre-emptively address potential issues.
• Maintain detailed documentation of cloud configurations, processes, and procedures. Generating reports on system performance, usage, and cost metrics for management review.
• Provide effective and responsive operational IT service to key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with suppliers and peers to ensure the stable operation of the global cloud hosting environment.

Requirements for the role of IT Cloud & Hosting Service Analyst include :

• Expertise in global cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP) and Co-location Datacentre settings.
• Experienced managing vendors and business units regarding cloud & hosting services
• Experience with successfully executing ‘migration to cloud’ and datacentre consolidation programs.
• Adept at engaging, building relationships and influencing senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of ITIL Service Management processes, ideally possession of an ITIL, Lean IT, and / or DevOps accreditation.
• Proficient in managing and administering cloud environment management tools such as Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, AWS Control Tower, and Terraform.
• Knowledge of security protocols, compliance standards, and best practices with cloud environments.
