Descripción del empleo

We are seeking a Client Manager for a junior to mid-level position to serve our European clients. This role requires excellent business English, and fluency in Spanish is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the solar industry in Europe and will be responsible for ensuring seamless client engagement and service delivery.

This position involves both ‘soft’ and ‘hard’ skill aspects—relationship management, issue resolution, and process improvement to ensure WiseEnergy delivers superior asset management services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Relationship & Communication

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met
  • Conduct, lead, and moderate regular client meetings and interactions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner with clients’ management and operational teams (including Portfolio Managers) to nurture strong working relationships
  • Capture and manage daily tasks and ensure service delivery per agreed SLAs.

Operational Oversight & Issue Resolution

  • Identify client requests that fall outside of scope and ensure appropriate internal approvals before commitment
  • Act as the first line of management escalation, diplomatically leading key colleagues through the communication and resolution process
  • Ensure deliverables meet agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards.

Data & Process Optimisation

  • Work with internal teams to implement Power BI dashboards and Microsoft Power Apps to improve efficiency
  • Analyse large data sets to drive decision-making and performance improvements
  • Ensure clients fully utilise WiseEnergy’s resources, including the asset management client portal and technical dashboard.

Service & Business Development

  • Provide feedback and recommendations for continuous service improvements
  • Collaborate with the Global Head of Client Management and delivery teams to anticipate evolving client needs
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional WiseEnergy services.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate :

  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills to handle multiple projects effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English required; Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese advantageous)
  • Ability to draft well-structured, grammatically correct emails and reports
  • Confident in verbal communication—whether in-person, on calls, or in meetings
  • Flexibility and adaptability to take on tasks outside of the job description when needed
  • Intellectual curiosity with a strong interest in the solar and renewable energy industry
  • IT literacy, particularly in Power BI and Microsoft automation tools
  • Detail-oriented approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for sustainability and WiseEnergy’s mission.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferably a solid understanding of the photovoltaic industry
  • Knowledge of remote monitoring systems, SCADA, and asset management software is an advantage
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with investors, developers, and service providers
  • Experience working with international teams
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
  • Business-level fluency in English (essential); additional European languages are beneficial
  • The right to work in the UK, Italy, Spain, or Portugal.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • A busy role in a supportive team, with plenty of opportunities to learn
  • International scope – we operate in over 8 countries
  • Annual discretionary bonus.
