LA PRINCIPAL in Palma de Mallorca is seeking a Client Advisor / Sales Assistant to welcome a global clientele and help them find pieces from our curated collection. You will deliver a personalised shopping experience and build lasting relationships.

Ideal candidates enjoy fashion, have a friendly, professional approach and can work both independently and as part of a team. Fluency in English and Spanish is essential; other languages are a plus.

Formación

• Minimum experience in sales and customer service within fashion or premium retail.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to understand client needs and provide personalised recommendations.

The Role

We are looking for a Client Advisor / Sales Assistant to join our team in Palma.

This is a customer-facing role for someone who genuinely enjoys fashion, people and the art of good service.

You will be the face of LA PRINCIPAL in the store, welcoming clients from around the world, understanding their individual needs and helping them discover the right pieces from our collection.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering a warm, knowledgeable and highly personalised customer experience.
• Building genuine relationships with clients and encouraging long-term loyalty.
• Understanding each client's style, needs and preferences and offering thoughtful product recommendations.
• Driving sales while maintaining a consultative, never pushy, approach.
• Developing a strong knowledge of our brands, collections, fabrics and products.
• Maintaining the highest standards of presentation and organisation throughout the store.
• Supporting stock management, replenishment and daily store operations.
• Contributing to visual merchandising and the overall atmosphere of the store.
• Working closely with the team to achieve individual and store sales objectives.
• Ensuring every client leaves the store feeling well advised, valued and looked after.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is naturally curious, personable and commercially minded, with a genuine interest in fashion and quality.

You might already have experience in fashion retail, premium/luxury retail, hospitality or another customer-focused environment. More important than the exact background is your attitude and your ability to connect with people.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in sales, fashion retail, premium retail or high-end hospitality.
• A genuine passion for fashion, style and quality.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A natural ability to understand and anticipate customer needs.
• A confident and professional approach to selling.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of presentation.
• The ability to work independently while being a supportive team player.
• Energy, initiative and a positive attitude.
• A willingness to learn and develop your knowledge of our brands and products.

Languages

As we work with an international clientele:

• Fluent English and Spanish are essential.
• Additional languages such as German, French or Italian are a strong advantage.
