The Role
We’re looking for a talented, self-driven and experienced senior hydraulic modeller (clean water) to join our Modelling and Innovation team to support both its product development team and its growing user base with live models. You will be involved in the implementation of client´s network models in Qatium as well as collaborating with other teams such as Product and Customer Success to provide hydraulic and industrial knowledge.
Working initially with our customers, you will define data requirements and aid in the initial set-up of their live models. Our customers come from across the globe, some including Waterloo (Canada), Greenville (Indiana, USA), Anglian Water (UK), Leeton Shire (Australia) and Global Omnium (Spain).
As we continue to expand the capabilities of Qatium to update existing or include new features such as flushing scenarios, water quality analysis, flow balance, calibration, live network alerts and optimization, your experience in building, calibrating and using models will be essential in aiding the product team in designing new ways of solving these common challenges, especially by those that are not trained in hydraulics.
Other requirements
Previous experience in setting up or maintaining a live modeling environment is a plus. Knowledge of software development Programming or automation experience would be beneficial.
