Formación

Join to apply for the Clean room Production Technician (VHIO) role at Vall d’Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR).

This position reports to the Clean Room - Advanced Therapies Medicinal Products (ATMPs) Qualified Person (QP) and the Manufacturing Manager. The main responsibility is to ensure the accurate and aseptic execution of all manufacturing processes of ATMPs under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

Education and qualifications :

Required : Higher Vocational Training Diploma, University Degree, Master or equivalent in the scientific or healthcare field.

Desired : Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English.

Experience and knowledge :

Required : Knowledge of tissue manipulation, biotechnological techniques, viral vector handling, cell culture, GMP manufacturing in controlled environments, drafting technical documents, laboratory equipment, Office suite, and Internet skills.

Desired : Knowledge of GMP/regulatory guidelines for ATMPs, process validation, T-cell based ATMPs, molecular biology, immunology, microbiological techniques, analytical method validation, and process development.

Main responsibilities and duties :
  • Perform aseptic processes and validations according to GMP standards.
  • Conduct environmental monitoring of the cleanroom.
  • Handle and process biological materials under sterile conditions.
  • Manage inventory of raw materials and products.
  • Review and validate manufacturing processes and documentation.
  • Ensure proper documentation and traceability of activities.
  • Prepare and operate equipment following protocols.
  • Participate in verification and calibration of instruments.
  • Contribute to drafting and revising SOPs for GMP compliance.
  • Support quality assurance activities and report deviations.
  • Assist in analytical testing validation and microbiological testing.
