As Claims Adjuster at DWF, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of International Insurance, Reinsurance, and Excess of Loss claims for Lloyds of London syndicates. You will work closely with your manager and team members to ensure high-quality claim handling, collaborating with internal teams (underwriters, actuaries, finance) and building relationships with external clients (brokers and cedents). This role offers remote work with occasional travel to the Madrid office.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handle a portfolio of claims across London Market and Lloyd’s platforms, including coverage analysis, investigation, evaluation, reserving, and settlement, following Global Claims Handling guidelines and regulations.
2. Ensure reserves are in line with company protocols and collaborate with underwriting and actuarial teams on claim issues and trends.
3. Maintain relationships with brokers and market peers, monitor trends in Casualty claims, and stay updated on legal developments and legislation affecting portfolios.
4. Collaborate with the Global claims team to ensure consistency in claims handling processes.

Qualifications:

• Previous claims experience within the reinsurance industry.
• Knowledge of international and UK casualty claims preferred.
• Familiarity with Write-Back / ECF2 and DOCOsoft.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and judgment skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently manage claims portfolios.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.
• Quick learner of proprietary systems.
