Descripción del empleo

To support our growth, we are currently looking for a highly qualified BIM Modeler with expertise in Civil3D. Together with the BIM and engineering teams at our HQ in Belgium, you will work on large infrastructure projects. As our ‘Civil BIM Designer’, you will develop and manage (sub-)models and drawings for the BIM model for Belgian clients, focusing on roads, cycling paths, intersections, roundabouts, flyovers, tunnels, bridges, and water management systems like sewerages.

Your main responsibilities include :

• Developing projects in preliminary, concept, and final design stages;
• Evaluating and constructing base models from all existing 2D and 3D data;
• Developing 3D models or parts of them;
• Creating 2D layouts and plans according to client requirements;
• Extracting qualitative models for visualizations, tables, and other documents (e.g., earthwork volumes, quantity take-offs, measurement lists);
• Working as part of an experienced team of engineers on highly technical projects, facing industry challenges.

Requirements

• Education : A certificate as a Technical BIM / CAD designer or Modeler, or equivalent through experience.
• Professional experience : At least 3-8 years of relevant experience in infrastructure projects.
• Software knowledge : Excellent skills in Civil3D and AutoCAD.
• Experience with BIM methodology, preparing 2D-3D drawings for civil construction design.
• Ability to work in an international environment, familiar with virtual teams, and willing to travel to Belgium about 1-2 times a year.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English (minimum level C+). Knowledge of Dutch and French is a plus.
• Valuing collaboration, communication, knowledge sharing, and constructive feedback.
