Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Civil & Structural (CSA) Engineering Manager in Madrid to own the civil, structural and architectural scope for large-scale data centre campuses. You will lead design across sites, coordinate consultants, and drive from masterplanning through handover, partnering with internal stakeholders and external teams.

The role requires expert CSA knowledge, experience with mission-critical facilities, and fluency in English (Spanish advantageous).

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Experience delivering large-scale data centres or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong site development, foundations and drainage knowledge; multidisciplinary coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead CSA scope across multiple data centre developments.
• Manage external design consultants and review deliverables.
• Oversee earthworks, roads, drainage, and underground services.
• Coordinate interfaces between CSA, electrical and mechanical teams.
• Provide guidance during construction, testing and handover.
• Support permitting and engagement with authorities.
