Join a high-growth tech scale-up as their first CISO, shaping the future of cybersecurity. You will take ownership of the security function and lead the build-out of the cybersecurity department, ensuring the company scales securely while working with major enterprise clients. Ideal candidates will have experience in tech companies, leading security functions on an international stage, and familiarity with critical frameworks.

Formación

• Experience leading a security organization or division in a tech/SaaS environment.
• Familiarity with ISO27001, SOC 2, GDPR frameworks.
• Ability to handle cybersecurity strategies and work internationally.

CISO / Head of Cybersecurity (Valencia / Remote Spain)

Shape the future of cybersecurity at a high-growth, purpose-driven tech company.

We're partnering with a leading European tech scale-up in the wellbeing & sports space to hire their first CISO. Following a recent funding round and continued growth plans, the business is at a pivotal point - scaling fast, entering global markets, and closing enterprise-level deals that demand a mature security posture.

This is a foundational leadership role. You’ll take ownership of the security function from an early stage and help shape both the strategy and the team needed to support global growth.

The Opportunity :

Lead the build-out of the cybersecurity department Define the security roadmap, policies, and tooling to prepare for further expansion Act as the executive face of cybersecurity internally and externally, working with major enterprise clients, answering due diligence, and enabling large-scale deals. Handle strategic alignment while ensuring autonomy and pushing back when needed Influence the global direction of a business at the intersection of digital health, technology, and lifestyle , with a leadership team that prioritizes wellbeing, flexibility, and trust.

Who are we looking for? : Someone who can own and grow the security function with vision and initiative. Experience leading a security org in a tech company or SaaS environment - or of leading a security division within a larger function on an international stage. Comfortable working across infrastructure, application security, compliance, and stakeholder engagement. Ideally experience with frameworks like ISO27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and dealing with vendor security reviews. Bonus if you’ve worked through PMI (Post-Merger Integration) or scaled security across multiple international markets. Fluent in both strategy and security literacy
