Job Description:

Several positions are now open at Airbus CRISA (Airbus Defense & Space) in Tres Cantos (Madrid area) for various Space business sectors: Launchers (Ariane6, Vega-C, Vega-E), Earth Exploration (Copernicus missions, PAZ-2), Space Exploration (Artemis), and Commercial (Telecommunications Satellites). These are external temporary opportunities to join a diverse and dynamic Technical Team focused on:

  • Innovating our products, technologies, and work methods,
  • Consolidating state-of-the-art products,
  • Continuous performance improvement.

We are driven by our passion to make it fly!

Based on proven candidate skills, she/he will join the Operations or Engineering team, supported by the relevant Team Leader.

The main responsibilities include:

  • Procedures and process optimization and verification.
  • Supporting the start-up and implementation of industrial means.
  • Shop floor support and troubleshooting.
  • Challenging and improving manufacturing methods and processes, implementing best practices in terms of Quality, Cost, and Time.
  • Participating in multifunctional teams for PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, KCs.
  • Optimizing and balancing workflows using Standard Time Methods and simulations.
  • Improving layout, material flow, and shopfloor management.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives like Kaizen and PPS, defining industrial requirements.
  • Organizing shopfloor workload, developing KPIs for time, cost, and quality analysis.

Educational requirements: Engineering degree or Master

Soft skills: Disciplined, methodical, with negotiation skills, pedagogic ability, proactive, organized, autonomous, adaptable to change, with knowledge of ERP, SPC, Excel/MSProject, line balancing methods, and SAP (highly valued).

This role requires awareness of compliance risks and a commitment to integrity, supporting the company's success and reputation.
