The Role

The Data Science team plays a central role in shaping the future of the platform by applying advanced machine learning techniques across multiple domains, including user behavior prediction, natural language processing (NLP), large language models (LLMs), computer vision, time-series forecasting, and causal inference.

Working with a unique dataset derived from millions of daily user sessions on thousands of hotel websites, the team develops AI-powered products that lead the market in personalization and performance.

Examples of Key Projects

  • Predictive Systems : Machine learning models forecasting user behaviors such as purchase likelihood, price sensitivity, and travel flexibility, enabling personalized experiences through targeted messaging.
  • AI-Driven Web Content Analysis : NLP-based tools analyzing content across numerous hotel websites, combined with extensive behavioral data to provide actionable insights that improve the customer journey.
  • AI-Powered Personalization : Recommendation engines using LLMs to automatically tailor web tools for each property, maximizing the effectiveness of direct booking strategies.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or similar.
  • 3+ years of industry experience applying machine learning techniques.
  • Proven experience managing data science projects end-to-end, from ideation to implementation and delivery.
  • Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of machine learning and statistics.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with key ML libraries (e.g., pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow / Keras or PyTorch, matplotlib, seaborn, FastAPI).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and resourceful approach.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and eager to learn new technologies and methodologies.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow and messaging systems such as Apache Kafka.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially AWS (e.g., S3, ECR).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Comfortable with Linux environments, version control (Git / GitHub), and CI / CD pipelines.
  • Experience handling large datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with Deep Learning frameworks, particularly PyTorch.
  • Knowledge of deploying retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and agentic workflows.
  • Understanding of best practices in production environments including testing, documentation, and maintenance.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.
