An established nonprofit organization is looking for enthusiastic High School Program Assistants to join their vibrant team. CIEE Palma High School Program Assistants

We are seeking passionate and fun High School Program Assistants to join our small, caring and fun-filled team. This role involves working closely with curious and enthusiastic high school students, helping them navigate their study abroad journey, and ensuring they have a safe, enriching, and unforgettable experience. The three cornerstones of CIEE high school programs are Fun, Friends, and Future!

  • You will be part of a small team in Palma de Mallorca, which in 2022 will receive more than 100 students from US high schools and colleges.

What you will do :

The Program Assistant helps organize cultural activities for the students, assists in cultural activities and health emergencies, and other administrative tasks. The PA is responsible for supporting the high school team with pre-arrival and post-arrival projects, including but not limited to reviewing students' documents, making reservations, and day-to-day operations. This is a position in direct contact with students and program leaders, very active and outdoorsy.

What you’ll bring :

  • University degree
  • At least one year of experience in a similar sector
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (written and oral)
  • Enjoy working with people and have strong professional, intercultural, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Active, dynamic, loving outdoor activities, knows the city, resourceful
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability and willingness to remain flexible, shifting between projects based on the seasonality of the program, with a proactive attitude, and eager to provide support to different business areas
  • Meticulous attention to detail in a very fast-paced environment
  • Strong awareness of inclusion for diversity, equity, and accessibility
  • Fast learner of new technology, systems, procedures, and policies
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
