Senior System Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior System Engineer to join our team and lead the development of cutting-edge cryptographic solutions for space and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Technical leadership interfacing with customers and project partners in collaboration with Tech Directors and Program Managers.
• User requirement definition in coordination with Product Line Managers.
• System requirement definition in coordination with HW, FW, SW, and Photonics teams.
• System architecture definition in coordination with HW, FW, SW, and Photonics teams.
• Testing procedure definition (testing instructions, success criteria, and figures of merit) and testing plans (calendar and resources necessary to execute procedures).
• Implementation of testing procedures (preparation of testing scripts, testing set-ups, and execution of tests).
• Data analysis and reporting of results.
• Milestone, work package, and task definition to reach project goals in coordination with Project Managers, HW, FW, SW, and Photonics teams.
• Planning timing and material resources necessary for executing tasks.
• Risk and issue communication to corresponding stakeholders.

Requirements :

Experience in multi-disciplinary integrated systems combining hardware, firmware, and software.

Prior technical role in space projects dealing with ECSS standards.

Prior experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams is desirable and will be valued.

Experience in planning and execution of complex test operations.

Experience developing test software, automation.

Experience in test equipment design and operation.

Experience writing test plans, procedures, and providing go / no-go judgment and rationale.

Experience with RF and optical systems measurement techniques.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or applied physics.

Advanced English speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills.

Spanish proficiency.

3 years of hands-on engineering experience.

PhD in electrical or Telecom, engineering, applied physics, or related discipline is not a requirement but will be valued.

Skills :

Proficient in Python programming language.

Passion for testing complex systems.

Proficient data analysis skills.

Knowledge of statistics.

Expertise in practical implementation of quantum systems and control.

Knowledge of digital electronics is not an excluding requirement but will be valued.
