Descripción del empleo

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Security Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations, with experience in managing contract guard forces, physical security, and corporate security.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our data center facility, as well as leading our uniformed guards and supporting our on-site contractor security team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Respond swiftly and calmly to security situations as they arise.
2. Support the on-site contractor security team as the primary security contact during the shift.
3. Report all unusual events to the Regional Operations Director in a timely manner.
4. Provide guidance and direction to the contract security officers to maximize the effectiveness of the security department.
5. Produce and modify identification badges using a computer-based badge program.
6. Monitor the access control and fire protection alarm monitoring system, as well as the integrated CCTV monitoring system.
7. Coordinate efficiently with the Operations Team during security incidents or any other security-related matter.
8. Develop specific knowledge of the operational process paths within the data center to identify security exposures and conduct investigations effectively.
9. Perform security inspections, audits, and investigations as required and instructed.
10. Use gathered information to complete detailed computer-based incident reports.
11. Learn and utilize company tools for data gathering, security purposes, and data analysis.
12. Gather security metrics regularly and present them in various forums.
13. Own the security posture of your assigned building and handle associated administrative tasks.
14. Work and travel as required by business needs, including weekends and various shifts.
15. Act as a proxy with security national entities when needed.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in physical security and corporate security.
• 4+ years of experience with security technology, including access control and CCTV systems.
• 4+ years in similar roles within the security industry.
• Possession or willingness to obtain a Professional Identity Card (TIP) as a security director.
• 4+ years managing contract guard forces.
• Experience working in mission-critical environments, such as data centers.

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong analytical skills for metrics and indicators production.
• Knowledge of ISO 27000, PCI, and Emergency National Plan standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Training in data analysis and visualization tools, such as PowerBI or similar.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
