Role Overview :

We seek an experienced Chief Operations Officer (COO) / Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) with a passion for AI and a strong commercial and operational background. This pivotal role involves strategic planning, managing growth, and operational excellence, driving our mission forward as we expand internationally.

We are open to candidates interested in freelance arrangements or payroll-based employment, located in Belgium or Spain (preferably Madrid), with hybrid flexibility (primarily remote, approximately one day per week onsite).

Key Responsibilities :

  • Drive and manage the commercial strategy, leading business development and expansion initiatives.
  • Manage and optimize the sales pipeline, ensuring efficient follow-ups and conversions.
  • Oversee project lifecycle management from initial pitch through implementation, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Lead operational resource allocation and prioritization to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and performance tracking.
  • Streamline operational processes, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure a seamless process from invoicing to cash collection.

Qualifications & Skills :

  • Demonstrated experience (minimum 5 years) in operations, business development, or project management within tech, marketing, or sales.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or relevant fields.
  • Exceptional communicator and negotiator capable of conveying complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive initiative, and goal-oriented approach.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding or keen interest in AI (intensive training provided); strong willingness to continually learn.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) plus proficiency in at least one of these languages : French, Dutch, or Spanish.
  • Experience working in startup environments highly preferred.
