  • Management experience from operation department in medium to large international company.
  • Extended experience with Quality Systems, Safety Products, sourcing & procurement.

Job purpose :

The Height, Safety and Productivity Solution (HSPS) division of the Alimak group is a world leading safety specialist providing reliable, innovative and cost-effective working-at-height solutions and services. These solutions are used in many end-user applications, in particular in industrial, construction, energy, telecoms and infrastructure projects.

The Position is responsible for developing and optimize processes, procedures and tools to ensure a competent, safe and efficient global operations organization.

About the role :

  • Contribute and execute HSPS Division strategy in the operations teams.
  • Drive HSQE and production processes to ensure quality products.
  • Achieve or exceed budgeted margins for production and SG&A. Develop make / buy analysis.
  • Manage customer relationships and customer support. Keep response time to customers, on time delivery, claims communication, invoicing and on time collection
  • Coordinate global logistics to ensure all businesses are executing in the most efficient and cost-effective methods
  • Ensure all estimates are completed on schedule and in accordance with the pricing / cost structure for each customer
  • Oversee vendor contracts, procurement and sourcing.
  • Maintain stock under targeted days of actual sales. Perform ABC analysis and report E&O. Minimize write offs and propose due accruals according to Group principles
  • Implement manufacturing processes, create goals, and cost cutting projects to ensure a focus on continuous improvement
  • Train, coach and mentor employees to develop an innovative and dedicated workforce though the Alimak group values
  • Drive digitalization and modernization of the manufacturing and production sites

  • Able to travel frequently overseas

Competencies & Qualifications :

  • Education within engineering, logistic or similar
  • Management experience from operation department in medium to large international company with own manufacturing and product program.
  • Extended experience with : Quality Systems, Safety Products, Make / buy analysis, cost leadership-cost-out / margin improvement prospects, sourcing & procurement- both strategical and operational / globally, inventory Management, Project Management, metal fabrication.
