Satispay is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to scale operational foundations across Europe, driving operational excellence and cross-functional alignment to support rapid growth. You will lead strategic initiatives, optimise processes, build scalable systems, mentor high-performing teams, and own outcomes with a hands-on, results-driven leadership style.

Travel up to 50% between Luxembourg and Milan and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of money at a fast-growing fintech.

Formación

• Leadership experience at executive level (COO, VP Ops, or similar) in a fast-growing tech/fintech
• Strong track record in designing, scaling, and optimising complex operations
• Strategic and analytical mindset with data-driven decision making
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing operational teams
• Hands-on, ownership-driven approach to problem solving in high-stakes environments
• Willingness to travel up to 50% between Luxembourg and Milan

What You'll Be Doing

As our Chief Operating Officer (COO), you'll scale and optimise Satispay’s operational foundations, driving operational excellence across all functions to support our hyper-growth trajectory across Europe.

• Strategic Operations - Direct daily operational activities to align with long-term company objectives, ensuring seamless execution across teams.


• Process Optimization - Identify operational bottlenecks, standardise workflows, and implement scalable processes that enhance overall business efficiency.


• Cross-Functional Leadership - Align operations with Product, Tech, Business Development, and Compliance to guarantee seamless end-to-end execution.


• Performance & Metrics - Define, track, and drive key operational KPIs, establishing robust reporting frameworks to ensure data-driven decision-making.


• Scalability & Infrastructure - Build resilient operational systems and frameworks capable of supporting rapid user acquisition and geographical expansion.

You will lead and mentor high-performing teams, collaborate closely with peers with structured communication and transparency, demonstrating a commitment to integrity and ownership.

Who We're Looking For

You'll take on one of the hardest challenges at our scale: scaling operational complexity, maintaining flawless execution across multi-country operations, and building resilient systems that seamlessly adapt to rapid expansion. We're not looking for a caretaker of an existing setup. We're looking for someone who has built or transformed a function, made hard calls under pressure, and can say "here's the decision, here's why, here's what happened."\

• Leadership Experience - Proven executive experience (COO, VP Ops, or similar senior leadership role) in a fast-growing scale-up, tech, or fintech environment.


• Operational Track Record - Demonstrated success in designing, scaling, and managing complex operational processes at scale.


• Strategic & Analytical Mindset - Strong ability to turn complex business challenges into clear, actionable operational frameworks using data-driven insights.


• Team Leadership - Track record of building, scaling, and empowering high-performing operational teams with an empathetic yet results-oriented approach.


• Execution Focus - Strong ownership mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving in high-stakes, fast-paced environments.


• Travel Flexibility - Expected travel up to 50% between Luxembourg and Milan.
