Isla Yacht Group seeks a First Mate for a 40m+ private motor yacht moored in Palma. Start ASAP. The role includes leading the deck team, maintaining vessel systems, and upholding high presentation standards.

Applicants must hold an OOW 3000 certificate and should be confident managing planned maintenance and Mini ISM processes. On offer is a competitive package with standard leave and a standby opportunity for owner use.

Formación

• OOW 3000 certificate required.
• Experience leading a deck team on a private yacht.
• Experience with planned maintenance systems / Mini ISM is a plus.

First Mate – 40m Private Catamaran

Start: ASAP

Location: Palma

Package: €6,500 plus standard leave

Ticket: OOW 3000 Minimum due to the vessel's GRT

We are currently seeking an experienced First Mate to join a 40m+ private motor yacht. The yacht is currently on standby for owner use while undertaking maintenance and cosmetic improvement projects, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys maintaining high standards, developing systems, and taking pride in the presentation of the vessel.

Candidates must hold an OOW 3000 and be confident leading the deck team. This role would also suit a strong Bosun looking to step up into their first Mate position who has experience with planned maintenance systems / Mini ISM preferred.
