A 56m private motor yacht is seeking an experienced Chief Officer to join our dynamic team. The role requires strong leadership and deck management skills, ensuring the highest standards of safety and service on board. Ideal candidates will possess a Chief Mate 3000GT certification and proven experience in a similar role, along with excellent English communication skills.

Formación

• Proven experience as Chief Officer or strong Second stepping up on yachts 50m+.
• Excellent deck operations knowledge including navigation, ISM/ISPS.
• Confident in overseeing deck team and bridge paperwork.

a 56m private / charter motor yacht, is seeking an experienced and motivated Chief Officer to join our dynamic team. This is a pivotal role requiring strong leadership, excellent deck management skills, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and service.

Requirements :

• Chief Mate 3000GT (minimum)
• STCW, ENG1, valid passport and seafarer’s documentation
• Proven experience as Chief Officer or strong Second stepping up on yachts 50m+
• Excellent deck operations knowledge including navigation, ISM / ISPS, bridge management, and planned maintenance systems
• Strong tender driving skills (including guest transfers and towing)
• Confident in overseeing deck team, bridge paperwork, and guest activities
• Familiar with shipyard periods and project planning
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written

Duties include :

• Assisting the Captain in the safe and efficient running of the vessel
• Leading and mentoring the deck team with hands-on guidance
• Overseeing navigational planning and bridge operations
• Coordinating exterior maintenance, appearance, and deck schedules
• Managing safety drills, crew training, and inventory control
