We are the premier Official Tour Operator to the Tour de France and world-class reference for cycling tours, renowned throughout the cycling industry for providing best-in-class cycling tours dedicated to avid cyclists. After two decades of steady growth, the company is now raising the bar to the next level.

THE ROLE :

We are looking for a CHIEF MARKETING & SALES OFFICER to oversee and manage all aspects of our marketing and sales strategy.

What you will be doing :

Marketing and Sales Strategies :

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and sales strategies that align with company goals, driving brand awareness, customer acquisition and retention, and revenue growth.
  2. Plan, implement, and evaluate sales and marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  3. Regularly assess the value proposition of products.
  4. Develop marketing strategies for new products or markets that align with the company vision and standards.

Market Research and Analysis :

  1. Conduct market research to identify customer requirements, opportunities, trends, and challenges.
  2. Provide short- and long-term market forecasts and reports by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting market data.

Digital Marketing :

  1. Define the digital marketing strategy, action plan and activities, and establish KPIs to continuously monitor performance: Website management, email marketing, sales leads and conversion, social media management.
  2. Oversee the development and implementation of creative and impactful marketing campaigns across various channels, ensuring brand consistency, tracking performance and maximizing ROI.
  3. Develop and implement lead generation and nurturing processes that effectively convert leads from marketing to sales.
  4. Evaluate channel performance and optimize channel strategies.
  5. Manage vendors and third parties to reach objectives and results.

Data Management and Performance Analysis :

  1. Continuously monitor performance of sales and marketing activities.
  2. Identify, establish and track KPIs.
  3. Drive data analysis.
  4. Monitor ROI of activities.

Forecasting and Pipeline Management :

  1. Develop and refine sales forecasting processes.
  2. Implement pipeline management processes to track opportunities, identify bottlenecks, and drive velocity.
  3. Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  4. Develop and manage relationships with channel partners to maximize value.

Customer Relationship Management :

  1. Develop and implement CRM strategy to manage customer interactions, track data, and improve customer retention.
  2. Utilize CRM data to generate insights and reports to support sales and marketing decisions.

What we are looking for :

  1. Degree in marketing or a related field.
  2. 5-10 years experience in a similar role.
  3. Proven experience in digital marketing, leading and managing SEO / SEM, marketing database, email, social media, advertising campaigns and CRM management.
  4. Extensive experience within the US market.
  5. Fluent in English and Spanish.
  6. Passion for cycling.
