Sesame HR is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer to lead our global marketing strategy, expanding presence in LATAM and beyond. You will drive brand awareness, demand generation and customer acquisition while coordinating with cross-functional leaders to ensure growth.

You will manage a diverse marketing team, guide digital initiatives, and oversee PR, content, and partnerships to position Sesame HR as a market leader in HR tech.

Formación

• 10+ years in marketing with a leadership role in SaaS, preferably HR tech or B2B.
• Proven track record of growth in international markets.
• Strong digital marketing, demand generation and customer acquisition knowledge.
• Experience leading brand positioning and establishing thought leadership.
• Proven success in scaling marketing teams in high-growth environments.
• Data-driven with analytics-based decision making.
• Excellent communication, leadership and project management skills.
• Fluent in English; Spanish/Portuguese skills are a plus.
• Experience expanding into Latin America, especially Brazil.

The CMO will be responsible for developing and executing Sesame’s global marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition. This role will be pivotal in positioning Sesame as a market leader in the HR tech space, with a focus on expanding into new international markets, particularly in regions such as Latin America and beyond. The CMO will lead a diverse marketing team, collaborate with cross-functional leaders, and ensure alignment with business goals while driving measurable growth.

Key Qualifications

• 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a SaaS company (preferably HR tech or B2B).
• Proven track record of driving significant growth in international markets.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, demand generation, and customer acquisition.
• Experience leading brand positioning initiatives and establishing thought leadership in a competitive market.
• Demonstrated success in managing and scaling marketing teams in a high-growth environment.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to make strategic decisions based on analytics and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Fluent in English; additional language proficiency, particularly in Spanish or Portuguese, is a plus.
• Experience in expanding into Latin American markets (particularly Brazil) is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global marketing strategy: Lead the creation and implementation of a comprehensive marketing plan aligned with business objectives to drive growth in existing and new markets.
• Brand positioning and awareness: Elevate Sesame’s brand presence in the global HR tech market, building a strong and recognizable brand identity across multiple regions.
• Lead strategic communication to build and maintain a strong brand identity. Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns across PR, content, and social media to engage with the target audience and drive business growth.
• Demand generation: Oversee multi-channel demand generation campaigns, ensuring a steady flow of high-quality leads to support the sales pipeline.
• Market expansion: Collaborate with the executive team to support international expansion, with a particular focus on markets such as Brazil and other emerging regions.
• Digital marketing: Lead digital initiatives, including SEO/SEM, social media, content marketing, and email marketing, optimizing performance for customer acquisition and retention.
• Customer insights and segmentation: Utilize data-driven insights to understand customer behavior, refine targeting strategies, and drive personalization across marketing efforts.
• Collaboration with sales: Work closely with sales leadership to align marketing and sales goals, ensuring consistent messaging and optimizing the lead handover process.
• Product marketing: Oversee product marketing efforts, ensuring go-to-market strategies for new features, services, and partnerships are successful.
• Team leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and results.
• Budget management: Oversee marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
• KPIs and reporting: Track and report on key marketing metrics, ensuring transparency on campaign performance and overall impact on business growth.
