As a key member of our innovation team, you will play a vital role in advancing our company's innovation strategy. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen to drive the evaluation and development of new opportunities.

You will lead the technical evaluation of new business development opportunities, assessing scientific soundness, development feasibility, and potential risks. This will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, and Intellectual Property, to inform project assessments and align on strategy.

Additionally, you will identify, analyze, and present emerging technologies, platforms, or trends that may offer strategic benefit to the organization. Your insights and recommendations will directly support strategic decision-making and resource allocation, helping to maintain our competitive edge and commitment to innovation across therapeutic areas.

By contributing to the identification and integration of external innovations, you will help ensure we continue to lead in the development of accessible and transformative healthcare solutions worldwide.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, or MSc) in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry, preferably in R&D or technology evaluation roles.
• Strong understanding of the drug / technology development lifecycle and regulatory environment.
• Demonstrated experience in technical due diligence and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to assess and synthesize complex technical information for business decision-making.
