Job summary

Liebherr is seeking a Head of Information Security Architecture in Madrid to lead and govern the enterprise security architecture. You will define strategy, drive Security by Design, and work with Enterprise Architecture and security domains to align with risk, regulatory requirements and business priorities.

The role requires strong leadership, TOGAF/SABSA knowledge and the ability to translate complex risks into clear architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven ability to establish Security by Design, architecture governance, standards and target-state architectures.
• Strong leadership and ability to translate business, risk and regulatory requirements into clear architecture decisions and guardrails.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture and security architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and SABSA, and security standards such as NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001 and IEC 62443.
• Professional fluency in English; German language skills are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally (up to 30%)

Responsibilities

• Define security architecture principles, standards, patterns, reference architectures and reusable blueprints.
• Provide architectural direction across identity, cloud, network, data protection, and product security.
• Lead Security by Design and governance processes from idea to operation.
• Translate business risk and regulatory obligations into architecture requirements.
• Lead the Information Security Architecture team and report on KPIs and maturity.
