A leading insurance company is looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to guide the financial future and help shape our next stage of growth. As a key member of the leadership team, you will report directly to our Co-CEOs and will be instrumental in ensuring long-term sustainability and scalability, all while staying true to our mission. Mission: Ensure financial sustainability and scalability by leading and executing financial strategy with a long-term vision, driving efficiency, and supporting growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Strategy & Leadership: Define and implement the global financial strategy aligned with growth goals. Serve as a key advisor to the Co-CEOs and Executive Board. Promote a data- and results-oriented mindset across the company, ensuring ambitious growth while maintaining financial stability and sustainability.
2. Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting: Conduct precise and agile financial planning. Deliver clear financial reports to stakeholders. Oversee accounting, tax compliance, cash flow, and regulatory reporting.
3. Business Partnering & Scalability: Collaborate with product, marketing, operations, and growth teams to guide strategic decisions based on financial impact, efficiency, and ROI. Evaluate new business opportunities, optimize costs, automate processes, and professionalize financial management.
4. Financial Operations & Controls: Oversee settlement and reconciliation processes with insurance carriers, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Manage monthly reconciliations and settlements with partners.
5. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations. Develop a risk management framework. Uphold integrity, ethics, and transparency across finance functions.

Requirements: 5+ years in senior finance roles, preferably within scaleups, insurtechs, or digital-first companies. Proven experience in financial analysis and strategic planning. Experience in high-growth environments. Fluency in additional languages is a plus. Analytical, proactive, collaborative, with a global outlook. Ability to lead through uncertainty and build high-performing finance teams.

Schedule: Full-time, flexible hours (7.5 hours/day). 100% remote, with optional office visits in Barcelona.
