Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Define and implement the global financial strategy aligned with growth goals.
- Serve as a key advisor to the Co-CEOs and Executive Board.
- Promote a data- and results-oriented mindset across the company, balancing ambitious growth with financial stability and sustainability.
Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting
- Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting with agility.
- Deliver clear financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee accounting, tax compliance, cash flow, and regulatory reporting.
Business Partnering & Scalability
- Collaborate with product, marketing, operations, and growth teams to guide strategic decisions based on financial impact.
- Evaluate new business lines, markets, partnerships, and growth opportunities.
- Optimize cost structures, automate processes, and professionalize financial management.
Financial Operations & Controls
- Oversee settlement and reconciliation processes with insurance carriers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage monthly financial reconciliation and settlements with partners.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations.
- Develop a robust financial and operational risk management framework.
- Uphold integrity, ethics, and transparency across all finance functions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in senior finance roles, ideally within scaleups, insurtechs, or digital-first companies.
- Proven track record in corporate financial analysis and strategic planning.
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
- Analytical, proactive, and collaborative mindset with a global outlook.
- Ability to lead through uncertainty and build high-performing finance teams.
Schedule & Location
- Full-time, flexible hours (7.5 hours/day).
- 100% remote, with optional office visits in Barcelona.
