A leading insurance company is looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to guide the financial future and help shape our next stage of growth. As a key member of the leadership team, you will report directly to our Co-CEOs and will be instrumental in ensuring long-term sustainability and scalability, all while staying true to our mission. Mission: Ensure financial sustainability and scalability by leading and executing financial strategy with a long-term vision and driving efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Strategy & Leadership: Define and implement the global financial strategy aligned with our growth goals. Serve as a key advisor to the Co-CEOs and Executive Board. Promote a data- and results-oriented mindset across the company, ensuring ambitious growth while maintaining financial stability and long-term sustainability.
  2. Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting: Conduct planning with precision and agility. Deliver clear financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders. Oversee accounting, tax compliance, cash flow, and regulatory reporting.
  3. Business Partnering & Scalability: Collaborate with product, marketing, operations, and growth teams to guide strategic decisions focusing on financial impact, efficiency, and ROI. Evaluate new business lines, markets, partnerships, and growth opportunities. Optimize cost structures, automate processes, and professionalize financial management.
  4. Financial Operations & Controls: Oversee settlement and reconciliation processes with insurance carriers, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Manage monthly financial reconciliation with strategic partners.
  5. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations. Develop a robust financial and operational risk management framework. Uphold integrity, ethics, and transparency across finance functions.

Requirements: 5+ years in senior finance roles, preferably within scaleups, insurtechs, or digital-first companies. Proven track record in corporate financial analysis and strategic planning. Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments. Fluency in additional languages is a plus. Analytical, proactive, and collaborative mindset with a global outlook. Ability to lead through uncertainty and build high-performing finance teams.

Schedule: Full-time, flexible hours (7.5 hours/day). 100% remote, with optional office visits in Barcelona.
