Una empresa líder en el sector de seguros busca un Chief Financial Officer (CFO) para guiar su futuro financiero. En este papel clave, serás responsable de definir la estrategia financiera, optimizar el rendimiento y asegurar una sólida sostenibilidad a largo plazo. Buscamos a un líder analítico y colaborador con más de 5 años de experiencia en entornos de alta velocidad y crecimiento, que trabaje junto a los Co-CEOs para tomar decisiones estratégicas.

Formación

  • 5+ años de experiencia en roles financieros senior, idealmente en scaleups o insurtechs.
  • Sólida experiencia en finanzas corporativas y análisis financiero.
  • Fluidez en inglés (otros idiomas son un plus).

Mission: Ensure financial sustainability and scalability by leading and executing financial strategy with a long-term vision and driving efficiency

Key responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and implement the global financial strategy aligned with our growth goals.
  • Serve as a key advisor to the Co-CEOs and Executive Board.
  • Promote a data- and results-oriented mindset across the company, ensuring that we pursue ambitious growth while maintaining financial stability and long-term sustainability.

Planning, Control & Reporting

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting with precision and agility.
  • Deliver clear and actionable financial reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee accounting, tax compliance, cash flow, and regulatory reporting.

Business Partnering & Scalability

  • Collaborate closely with product, marketing, operations, and growth teams to guide strategic decisions with a focus on financial impact, efficiency, and return on investment.
  • Evaluate new business lines, markets, partnerships, and growth opportunities from a financial perspective.
  • Optimise cost structures, automate processes, and professionalise financial management.

Financial Operations & Controls

  • Oversee the settlement and reconciliation process with insurance carriers, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory standards.
  • Manage monthly financial reconciliation and settlements with strategic partners.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and applicable financial regulations.
  • Develop a strong financial and operational risk management framework.
  • Uphold integrity, ethics, and transparency across all finance-related functions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in senior finance roles, ideally within scaleups, insurtechs, or digital-first companies.
  • Proven track record in corporate finance, accounting, financial analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Fluency in English (additional languages a plus).
  • Analytical, proactive, and collaborative mindset with a global outlook.
  • Ability to lead through uncertainty and build high-performing finance teams.

Schedule: Full Time

  • Flexible hours (7.5 hours a day).
  • 100% Remote (with the possibility of coming to the office if you wish, located in Barcelona).

Primary Location: Remote *We can only consider candidates who are Spanish residents and with the necessary documentation to legally work in the country.
