A leading insurance company is looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to guide the financial future and help shape our next stage of growth. As a key member of the leadership team, you will report directly to our Co-CEOs and will be instrumental in ensuring long-term sustainability and scalability, all while staying true to our mission. This is a high-impact position for a financial leader who combines strategic vision with practical execution. You will drive financial strategy, optimize performance, and make data-driven decisions that promote growth. Mission:

Ensure financial sustainability and scalability by leading and executing financial strategy with a long-term vision and driving efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Strategy & Leadership: Define and implement the global financial strategy aligned with growth goals. Serve as a key advisor to the Co-CEOs and Executive Board. Promote a data- and results-oriented mindset to pursue ambitious growth while maintaining financial stability.
  2. Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting: Conduct planning with precision and agility. Deliver clear financial reports to stakeholders. Oversee accounting, tax compliance, cash flow, and regulatory reporting.
  3. Business Partnering & Scalability: Collaborate with product, marketing, operations, and growth teams to guide strategic decisions. Evaluate new business lines, markets, and partnerships. Optimize costs, automate processes, and professionalize financial management.
  4. Financial Operations & Controls: Oversee settlement and reconciliation processes with insurance carriers, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Manage monthly financial reconciliations with partners.
  5. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations. Develop risk management frameworks. Uphold integrity, ethics, and transparency across finance functions.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years in senior finance roles, ideally within scaleups, insurtechs, or digital-first companies.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis and strategic planning.
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Analytical, proactive, and collaborative mindset with a global outlook.
  • Ability to lead through uncertainty and build high-performing finance teams.
Schedule:

Full-time, flexible hours (7.5 hours/day). 100% remote, with optional office visits in Barcelona.

Primary Location:

Remote. Candidates must be Spanish residents with legal work authorization in Spain.
