Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned finance leader to join our organization. This is a unique opportunity to drive strategic finance leadership, finance transformation, and technical finance expertise.

The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge in accounting, tax, compliance, internal audit, transfer pricing, and FP&A, with a strong command of local statutory requirements and SOX compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Strategic Finance Leadership : Acts as a key business partner to regional leadership, shaping strategy and providing data-driven financial insights to support decision-making in the commercial area and market growth across Spain and Portugal.
2. Finance Transformation Champion : Leads the transition of finance operations (accounting, AP / AR) to a shared service model, ensuring seamless process migration, documentation, and operational continuity.
3. Technical Finance Expertise : Brings deep knowledge in accounting, tax, compliance, internal audit, transfer pricing, and FP&A, with a strong command of local statutory requirements and SOX compliance.
4. Insights & Analytics Development : Builds and mentors a high-performing analytics team to deliver actionable insights, advanced financial modeling, and performance reporting aligned with business objectives.
5. Operational Excellence & Cost Management : Drives cost efficiency and Capex management through robust planning, variance analysis, and alignment of cost drivers with business strategy.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration : Partners effectively with global and regional teams, aligning financial forecasts and metrics, and ensuring consistent communication with auditors, banks, and financial authorities.
7. Leadership & Team Development : Leads and develops a regional finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements :

1. Finance degree or equivalent recognized qualification in finance.
2. Excellent command of spoken and written English.
3. Spanish finance / accounting qualifications.
4. More than 6-8 years leading and managing a local finance function.
5. Experience leading a local finance function within media, telco, or streaming sectors. Experience with matrix organizations and shared services is required.
