The Role

The Implementation team at TravelPerk manages the onboarding of our new clients. We are looking for a German-speaking Onboarding Specialist responsible for executing and launching implementations within your portfolio. You will analyze each customer's needs to propose a tailored implementation plan. Your success will be measured by the completion and adoption of the TravelPerk platform among your customers' users. You will be the subject matter expert in change management and will deliver a 7-star onboarding experience!

This role requires excellent communication and project management skills, organizational and problem-solving abilities, and keen attention to detail. While some technical understanding of integrations and open APIs is helpful, you do not need to be an expert immediately.

What you’ll be doing :
  1. Lead cross-functional project teams to implement new clients successfully.
  2. Initiate, plan, execute, control, and close projects, including developing requirements, finalizing deliverables, and managing client communications.
  3. Review contracts, optimize resource management, and validate process quality.
  4. Serve as the first point of contact for client escalations during implementation.
  5. Develop and execute strategies to achieve account ramp-up goals.
  6. Ensure accounts are staged, scheduled, and prioritized according to client and business needs.
  7. Communicate complex technical information clearly to all audiences.
  8. Ensure project team members understand timelines, tasks, risks, and issues.
What we look for :
  • Proven success managing projects in an international environment.
  • Native or near-native German speaker.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Experience implementing products for different clients.
  • Experience in Travel Agency or Training sectors is a plus.
  • Organized, structured, with strong analytical and recommendation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels and adapt communication accordingly.
  • Driven by challenges and eager to make a difference.
Nice to have but not essential :
  • Studies in Project Management.
  • Experience in the travel industry.
  • Previous SaaS implementation experience.
