The Role

The Implementation team at TravelPerk manages the onboarding of our new clients. We are looking for a German-speaking Onboarding Specialist who will be responsible for successfully executing and launching the implementations within your portfolio. As an Implementation Specialist, you will analyse the specific needs and circumstances of each customer to propose a suitable implementation plan tailored to the client. Your success will be measured upon the completion and adoption of the TravelPerk platform among your customers' users. You will be the subject matter expert in change management and will deliver a 7-star experience during onboarding.

The role requires superb communication and project management skills, organizational and problem-solving abilities, and keen attention to detail. While familiarity with basic technical concepts like integrations and open APIs is necessary, you do not need to be an expert immediately.

What you’ll be doing :
  1. Lead cross-functional project teams to successfully implement new clients.
  2. Initiate, plan, execute, control, and close implementation projects, including requirements documentation, finalizing deliverables, and managing client communications.
  3. Review contracts, optimize resource management, and validate process quality.
  4. Serve as the first point of contact for client escalations during implementation.
  5. Develop and implement strategies to achieve account ramp-up goals.
  6. Ensure accounts are staged, scheduled, and prioritized according to client and business needs.
  7. Communicate complex technical information clearly to all audiences.
  8. Ensure project team members understand timelines, tasks, risks, and issues.
What we look for :
  • Proven success in managing and delivering projects in an international environment.
  • Native or near-native proficiency in German.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Experience in implementing products for different clients.
  • Experience in travel agency or training sectors is a plus.
  • Organized, structured, and capable of analyzing and recommending solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to build relationships at all organizational levels and adapt communication accordingly.
  • Driven by challenges and a personal desire to make a difference.
