Formación

The Position

RIB is seeking a Chief Accountant and SPOC for treasury and Tax who will work with international teams across Europe, North America, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific to provide advice, support, and direction along the business strategy for the global finance organization. This role reports to the CFO of RIB Group.

This position would ideally reside in Europe — preferably in Spain (Madrid), Denmark (Copenhagen), or DACH (Stuttgart, Berlin, Leipzig, Freiburg, Vienna).

Responsibilities

• Accounting Compliance: Focus on IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IAS 36, IAS 37; review practices, ensure compliance, documentation, and correct accounting entries.
• Transfer Pricing and Management Fee: Review and align transfer pricing agreements, implement consistent approach, ensure documentation.
• Balance Sheet Review: Ensure correct accounting principles, analyze balance sheets, identify improvement areas, optimize cash usage.
• General Job View: Review accounting manuals, coordinate with finance departments, monitor IFRS developments, implement new standards.
• Treasury: Implement and run global treasury, optimize bank structures, prepare cash pooling.
• Tax: Act as Tax SPOC, coordinate tax questions, ensure compliance.
• Risk & Compliance Management: Support compliance organization across accounting, finance, tax, treasury.
• Legal Entity Simplification: Support process, review mergers, disposals, wind-downs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting or related field.
• 5+ years IFRS accounting and managerial accounting experience.
• 2+ years in treasury and/or tax.
• Minimum 2 years working in a global business environment in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
• Management experience in accounting and treasury.
