Kronospan is a world-leading manufacturer of wood-based panels using advanced technology with 125 years history of success with over 50 plants across the globe. We have pioneered many of our industry's key advances and will continue to lead product development and innovation into the future. We are opening our third production plant in Spain, located in Tortosa, with an initial investment of 270 million euros and more than 180 direct jobs. The group will invest around 500 million euros in Tortosa in the coming years and reach at least 300 employees. This new Greenfield location will help us expand our European operations and explore new and emerging markets.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Responsible for the control of the production of glues and formaldehyde at the production plant in Burgos.
• Responsible for fulfilling orders and supplying both the Burgos plant and Salas de los Infantes.
• Enforce Kronospan production and quality standards.
• Control the maintenance of the chemical plant, as well as the materials used in it.
• Ensure all equipment is working properly.
• Oversee projects and R+D+i.
• Manage personnel hired in the chemical plant and the selection processes necessary.
• Control shifts.
• Responsible for all jobs.
• Oversee attendance control of plant personnel, sign the daily ZM04, and authorize overtime payment.

Requirements

• Fluency in English.
• 5 years in a manufacturing industry (preferably) with a clear track record.
• Degree in chemical engineering.
