A leading laboratory in food safety located in Barcelona is seeking entry-level Chemical and Microbiology Analysts. The Chemical Analyst will conduct chemical tests, requiring a higher vocational qualification and related lab experience. The Microbiology Analyst will perform microbiological analyses with similar educational requirements. Both roles require residence in the Barcelona area and offer full-time schedules.

Formación

• 1 year of experience performing analytical tasks in a laboratory for the Chemical Analyst role.
• 6 months of experience performing analytical tasks in a laboratory for the Microbiology Analyst role.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out chemical tests on food products.
• Conduct microbiological analyses on food products.

Conocimientos

Experience in food-sector chemistry lab

Knowledge of GC and/or HPLC or LCMS

Knowledge of ELISA

Educación

Higher vocational qualification in Quality Analysis and Control

We specialize in physico-chemical, microbiological, molecular, allergen, contaminant and residue, nutritional and composition testing , among others.

We are currently looking to fill the following permanent and immediate positions at our laboratories located in Barcelona (Mercabarna complex) :

1. CHEMICAL ANALYST

You will carry out chemical tests on food products.

Experience in a food-sector chemistry lab and knowledge of instrumental techniques (GC and / or HPLC or LCMS) or ELISA will be highly valued.

Required education :

• Higher vocational qualification in Quality Analysis and Control or a similar field.
• 1 year of experience performing analytical tasks in a laboratory.

Schedule :

Monday to Friday, from 2 : 00 PM to 10 : 00 PM.

Other requirements :

Residence in the Barcelona metropolitan area.

2. MICROBIOLOGY ANALYST

You will be responsible for conducting microbiological analyses on food products.

Required education :

Higher vocational qualification in Quality Analysis and Control or a similar field.

6 months of experience performing analytical tasks in a laboratory.

Monday to Friday, from 12 : 00 PM to 8 : 00 PM.

Monday to Thursday, from 11 : 30 AM to 8 : 00 PM, and Sundays from 8 : 00 AM to 2 : 00 PM.

Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 8 : 00 AM to 2 : 00 PM.

Other requirements :

Residence in the Barcelona metropolitan area.
