Offer Description

Temporary contract at the University of Oviedo for a technician position to participate in a research project on Characterization, management, and applications of nanocomposites, mineral substances, and recoverable waste

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or in Chemical Engineering plus a Master’s Degree in Chemistry and Sustainable Development or equivalent qualifications.

Eligibility criteria

1. Academic background, maximum 3 points :

  • Additional official degrees in experimental sciences or engineering beyond those specified as specific requirements : 0.25 points per bachelor's or master's degree, up to a maximum of 0.5 points.
  • PhD in Chemistry and Materials Science : 1.5 points.
  • Training courses directly related to the tasks to be performed : 0.25 points for each course / seminar of 20 hours or more, up to a maximum of 1 point.

2. Professional and work experience, maximum 3 points :

  • Work experience in tasks related to material characterization and analysis : 0.5 points per year of experience, up to a maximum of 2 points.
  • Participation in R&D projects funded through competitive calls or research contracts with companies related to the specified tasks : 0.1 points per project, up to a maximum of 0.5 points.
  • Articles published in JCR-indexed journals on topics related to the specified tasks : 0.1 points per article, up to a maximum of 0.5 points.

3. Other merits, maximum 1 point :

  • Participation in international conferences, publications in books, or non-JCR indexed articles on topics related to the tasks to be performed : 0.05 points per item, up to a maximum of 0.20 points.
  • Research stays abroad related to the subject area of the position : 0.10 points per stay of at least 1 month, up to a maximum of 0.50 points.

4. Personal interview, up to 3 points :

It will be conducted in person, orally, and will be open to the public.
