Airbus Helicopters España, SA is seeking a professional in Airworthiness & Configuration to lead certification and qualification activities for helicopter programs. You will classify changes, prepare plans for variants, identify requirements, and coordinate with authorities to demonstrate compliance while protecting company interests.

The role requires expertise in EMAR/PERAM/EASA Part 21, knowledge of Spanish military regulations, and fluent English.

Formación

• Master or degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering required.
• Experience in Certification/Qualification or Continued Airworthiness required.
• Knowledge of EMAR/PERAM/EASA Part 21 and Spanish military regulations preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Classify changes to the type certificate and repairs.
• Prepare Certification & Qualification Plans for new variants or product changes.
• Lead negotiations with Airworthiness Authorities and Qualification Agencies to demonstrate compliance.
• Coordinate with Industry partners and manage subcontracted activities.
• Support Continuous Airworthiness and maintain approvals.

Scope

Programs and Projects within AHE Airworthiness & Configuration Department.

Job description

Certification and Qualification activities consisting in:

• Classification of changes to the type certificate and repairs
• Preparation of Certification & Qualification Plans for new variants or product changes
• Identification of Applicable Requirements
• Propose Means of Compliance and Compliance Evidences
• Leading negotiations with Airworthiness Authorities and Qualification Agencies to demonstrate compliance with the applicable requirements while preserving company interests
• Approval of minor changes / repairs when applicable.
• Leading Approval Flight Conditions / Permit to Fly processes including military ones (i.e. CAE process)
• Validation / approval of changes to Flight Manuals, ICAs and OSDs.
• Coordination of those activities that, being under his/her scope, have been subcontracted
• Coordination with Industry partners in the different programs
• Support to Compliance Verification Engineers CVEs
• Continued Airworthiness process: investigation of major incidents
• Maintenance of AHE Design Organization Approvals

Requisites

• Master / Degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering
• Experience in Certification and Qualification or Continued Airworthiness is required (military or civil)
• Demonstrable knowledge of EMAR / PERAM / EASA Part 21
• Demonstrable knowledge of the Spanish Military Airworthiness Regulations (RAD, PERAM, INTA Procedures)
• Demonstrable knowledge of EASA certification process will be valued
• Demonstrable knowledge of helicopter certification specifications (FAR27/29, CS27/29), FAR25
• Soft skills are essential to the position
• Spanish: mother tongue/proficiency
• English: fluent
• Microsoft Office Package advance user level
• Advisable: NECTAR tool knowledge
