Overview

Customer Support role in the Information Technology (IT) sector, requiring 2–5 years of experience. Please note this is a full onsite position, 5 days a week in the office.

Team and Department

Part of the Quality Verification and Standards (QVS) team, which supports game development by delivering insights to optimize software performance and enhance gameplay.

Main Purpose of the Role

Execute technical PC performance testing for projects, ensuring EA products meet internal and first-party performance standards before release and during live operations. Communicate risk assessments and best practices related to performance and compatibility issues. Conduct documentation reviews, provide testing expertise, and support game teams with performance data and forecasts.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Maintain understanding of new hardware, software, and OS releases, following internal guidelines.
  2. Explore automation solutions and contribute to ROI improvements.
  3. Assess performance and compatibility of assigned titles, providing feedback and risk assessments.
  4. Review reported issues, assess severity, and respond accordingly.
  5. Perform hands-on testing throughout the development cycle, including compatibility and regression testing.
  6. Contribute to postmortem analyses and suggest technical improvements.
  7. Investigate EDA issues as needed.

Experience working in dynamic team environments is essential due to varying workloads and team compositions.
