We are currently seeking a Category Manager to join a well-established, family-owned company undergoing significant international transformation within the organized foodservice sector .

Mission

The selected candidate will lead the procurement strategy for finished products , managing categories assigned based on experience. The role requires a strong technical and methodological approach , along with a clear international outlook. A key responsibility will be to support the expansion into new markets (Latin America and Asia), ensuring the development of local suppliers and the scalability of products.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage current direct procurement categories (including ingredients used in menus).
• Negotiate and maintain strong relationships with national and international suppliers.
• Lead the internationalization and supply offshoring strategy , identifying new local suppliers.
• Combine technical expertise with a strong commercial and relational focus.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a technical procurement role.
• Proven experience in the food industry, specifically purchasing finished goods .
• Highly analytical and structured, with strong methodological skills.
• Excellent negotiation abilities and experience in supplier relationship management.
• Ability to thrive in a family-run environment with international reach.
• Experience in organized foodservice , retail, or supermarkets is a strong plus.
