A leading company in the food sector seeks a dynamic Category Manager to drive growth in the Customer Brands area. The role involves transforming global strategies to local plans, providing insights from market data, and enhancing skills within a passionate, international team.

We are now seeking a Category Manager to help us to further build the future of food.
As an internationally focused Category Manageryou will join a dynamic team and drive the Customer Brands (Private Label) business area to new heights! You'll drive growth in volume, value, market share, and profit, establishing Paulig as the preferred partner to FMCG retailers across Europe. Your role will involvedeveloping expert category, market and customer understanding, building strong relationships across multiple functions, crafting category plans, and driving sustainable, profitable, data-informed growth.
What you will do
Adapt Growth Strategies:Transform global growth strategies into local action plans.
Ad Hoc Studies and Market Data:Plan for sufficient provision of market and shopper data to size opportunities, build category plans and equip the business with insights.
Insight Communication:Research and proactively share insights to influence strategy, highlighting implications to senior management and driving change.
Data Analysis:Analyze customer and market data, providing clear, actionable recommendations and presenting findings to customers and internally
Workshop Leadership:Develop and lead workshops to enhance the commercial team's skills.
Category Ownership:Take ownership of your categories, become an expert through analysis and collaboration, initiating proposals to customers and managing requests.
Stakeholder Interaction:Maintain close interaction with internal stakeholders across various functions to stay informed of wider business goals.

What we expect from you
University Degree
3+ years experience including FMCGcategory, insight or agency roles
Strong knowledge &insights into market and shopper data
Expert user ofagency data platforms (Circana, Kantar)
Storytelling style andclear & transparent communicationtowardsstakeholders
Team player - we work better together
Curiosity and aninternational mindset
Fluent inEnglish(other languages are a plus)
In this role you will report tothe Head of Category and Revenue Growth
