As Business Unit Director of your category, you will lead with ownership, shaping the product assortment, driving profitability, and collaborating across departments to deliver business excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the product assortment strategy, adapting it to market demands and customer expectations.
  • Continuously review and optimize the assortment to ensure it remains competitive, up to date, and focused on high-rotation key products.
  • Define and manage the product portfolio in line with consumer trends and company strategy.
  • Analyze competitors’ assortments and consumer behavior to adjust the product mix and maintain an attractive, competitive offer.
  • Design and coordinate promotions and special offers to drive sales and stock rotation.
  • Ensure category profitability through constant analysis of margins, costs, and pricing.
  • Build and monitor the category strategy and brand-level building blocks to achieve budget targets.
  • Manage supplier relationships, monitor service levels, and act as the main point of contact for issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to co-create category marketing plans.
What we’re looking for
  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3–4 years of experience in category management, purchasing, or product assortment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, with the ability to work effectively in both languages.
