At Hays we are seeking a Commodity Buyer to join a multinational within the industrial sector in Castilla y León.

Under the supervision of the department head, the buyer will operate at the heart of the company and supplier network.

Key Responsibilities

• The buyer negotiates and ensures the supply of sustainable and high-performing parts / services, respecting the objectives of 'Quality, Cost, and Lead Time.'
• The buyer contributes to the supplier selection process by managing the tender process.
• The buyer is responsible for the performance of their orders, negotiating the technical-economic convergence of tender responses, adhering to various milestones, and ensuring the company’s social and environmental responsibility.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in purchasing within the industrial, manufacturing, or similar sector.
• Experience in negotiating.
• High proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Availability to relocate to Valladolid.
