Descripción del empleo

We are seeking a senior professional to lead and ensure quality across the entire cask manufacturing process within an integrated supply chain, from wood sourcing to final seasoning and assembly. This role will play a key part in the development of new facilities in Jerez and will oversee all cask manufacturing activities, ensuring strict compliance with technical and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee day-to-day cask manufacturing operations, ensuring products meet all technical and quality specifications.
• Coordinate and integrate new businesses and processes into the global supply structure.
• Ensure quality standards in the seasoning process, working closely with strategic partners.
• Frequent travel to sawmills in Northern Spain and the USA to control wood sourcing, drying, and cutting processes.
• Define and implement manufacturing standards and drive continuous process improvement.
• Collaborate closely with quality and product teams to support innovation and new product development.
• Transform current external audit processes into effective internal quality controls throughout the supply chain, from oak to wine.
• Define KPIs and operational excellence metrics to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

Profile Requirements :

• University degree in engineering, operations, business, or related fields.
• Proven experience in operational leadership and team management.
• Strong background in operations strategy and full supply chain management.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and collaboration skills at both local and international levels.
• High technical and financial acumen with a focus on cost and quality optimization.
• Experience leading complex projects and driving organizational change.
• Background in industrial environments, including unionized and non-unionized settings.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Residency or willingness to relocate to the Jerez area.
