Position Summary

The Career Services Officer will support students and recent graduates in their career development, helping them to navigate the transition from academic life to the professional world. This role involves providing individual counseling, organizing career-related events, developing partnerships with employers, and coordinating internship and job placement services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized career counseling and coaching to students and alumni.
• Design and deliver career development workshops (e.g., CV writing, interview preparation, LinkedIn optimization, and job search strategies).
• Identify and actively pursue internship and job opportunities, especially within leading international companies and organizations .
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with local and global employers.
• Coordinate and promote career fairs, employer sessions, and networking events.
• Manage digital platforms for job and internship postings.
• Collaborate with academic departments to align career services with academic goals.
• Monitor and report graduate employability outcomes and internship statistics.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Career Counseling, Psychology, Human Resources, Education, or related field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (Catalan and / or Spanish is a plus).
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Previous experience in student services, recruitment, human resources, or corporate partnerships is highly valued.
• Familiarity with international labor markets and talent development trends.

• Relevant academic background : 20 points
• Professional experience in career services, HR or student advising : 25 points
• International or corporate experience : 15 points
• Language skills (English, Catalan and Spanish essential) : 15 points
• Skills in event planning, communication, and digital tools : 15 points
• Motivation letter and alignment with the role : 10 points
• Total100 points

A shortlist of candidates with the highest scores will be invited for an interview.
